Traveling to a royal park can be a new and enjoyable experience. Especially if the vacation you spend with your family is done by visiting Tirta Gangga Bali Tourism Park. Surely you can find the natural beauty and splendor of royal ornaments here.

History of Tirta Gangga Water Palace

The name Tirta Gangga is taken from two words. The first is tirta which means holy water and Gangga which is taken from the name of a river in India. The water in this place is indeed taken from the purified water of the Ganges River. This is a form of respect for the Hindu community in Bali and around the world.

Although the name is a pool, this place is actually a water palace. The construction of the water palace was initiated by the King of Karangasem with the aim of becoming a place of recreation and a stopover for the royal family and royal guests. This water palace is also a Balinese cultural heritage with architecture that is also influenced by Chinese culture.

As a palace, of course Tirta Gangga presents its own beauty. However, this palace was once damaged by a natural disaster in 1963, precisely because of the eruption of Mount Agung. Tirta Gangga will soon be completely renovated and finally reopened to the general public.
